First of all, extract my bundle and install:
Put the DVD in your DVD drive. Run DVDDecrypter (make sure under the Source drop-down box your DVD drive is chosen). If a window like this pops up, just choose the appropriate Region and click OK.

Go to Tools --> Settings --> IFO Mode tab. Set File Splitting to None and click OK. DVD Decrypter will remeber this setting for next time.

Hit 'I' to make sure you are in IFO mode (DVD Decrypter will also remember this setting). The correct PGC should be chosen by default, if not choose the one that's the length of your movie. Then click the DVD to hard drive icon to begin ripping.

When it's done, run DGIndex. Go to File --> Open, navigate to your now ripped .VOB file (usually in the folder C:\MOVIE_NAME\VIDEO_TS\) and click Open, then click OK.

Go to File --> Save Project, and save a project file into the Encoding folder.

While it's indexing, take note of the aspect ratio listed in the Information box (either 16:9 or 4:3). Also, take note of the video type. If it is "PAL", use PAL settings, if it is "Film" or Film >90%, use FILM settings, if it is anything else use NTSC settings.

Run VirtualDubMod. Click File --> Open video file and navigate to the script file created in the Encoding folder.

Click File --> Load processing settings and navigate through the folders (Settings --> DVD --> ...) to find the right settings based on your video and desired quality. Note that the fast settings will encode over twice as fast as the slow settings, but yield slightly lower quality and a slightly larger file size.

Click File --> Save As and save to your hard drive or directly to your SD card (via a card reader, anything involving the hotsync cable would be much to slow for a full-length movie) in the desired folder.

Once you have tested the video on your Zodiac and are satisfied, you may delete DVD Decrpyter's movie folder and DGIndex's project/script/audio files from your computer.
